1. Taj Mahal

It was built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan as a symbol of love for his wife Mumtaz Mahal after her demise. 2. Konark Sun Temple

Located at Konark, the Sun Temple is basically a cluster of many ancient temples where you can find a heap of sculptures and artwork. This Sun Temple was built by King Narasimhadeva-I of the Ganga Dynasty in Kalinga style and today it is considered one of the seven wonders in the country. The specialty of this temple is the sunrays that fall on the three statues of Sun God on dawn, noon, and dusk. You also must take a look at the sundial that has 12 wheels which are pulled by seven horses. This portrays the time of the day.

3. Gomateshwara

It is a monolithic statue which is dedicated to Gog Bahubali. Devotees of the Jain religion frequent this attraction. Gomateshwara is located at Shravanabelagola in Karnataka and is a huge art. It is one of the largest and most free-standing statues in the world. You can try to visit this place during the Mahamastakabhisheka festival, which happens only once every 12 years. You can find the figurine being polished with saffron, milk, and ghee.

5. Hampi
